Myanmar : Discover Old Burma (Myanmar), in the footsteps of Rudyard Kipling, along the road to Mandalay.

The romantic fabled country of Burma changed its name in 1988 to Myanmar and the exotic city of Rangoon turned into Yangon ...... but even a name change could not destroy the country's British colonial heritage. Still today you will see fine architecture of the once grand empire, some buildings restored to their former elegance, others decaying through lack of maintenance. From horse drawn carriages to Roast Beef & Yorkshire Pudding ....little pockets of Burma`s colonial past can still be found hidden away in some of the most unlikely places. Our nostalgic journey will also take you to see what remains of the former grand Buddhist culture in Pagan and cruise down the Irrawaddy River, the Road to Mandalay.

Contrary to popular belief, Myanmar is rapidly integrating with the rest of the world. Now is the time to visit this little known and misunderstood country, before it's historic charm is overtaken by progress.

This tour does include meeting the local people in their homes, exploring rural villages and cities. Rangoon, Mandalay, Maymyo, Pagan, Lake Inle will be visited as well as a cruise on a riverboat for 2 nights up the Irrawaddy River.

India : Spice, Gardens, Food & Culture

On this Southern and Central India tour you will discover a photogenic world of vibrant colours, aromatic spice markets, palm fringed beaches, romantic hill stations, abundant wildlife, restful canal cruising and spectacular temples. You will see the growing of cashew nuts, cardamom, pepper, tamarind, cloves, cumin, nutmeg and turmeric as well as enjoy eating the exciting cuisine of each region and learning how to prepare it. In addition to all this you will visit the 'must see' wonders of the Taj Mahal, Palace of the winds in Jaipur, Fatipur Sikri, Agra and the Amber Fort .... plus Periyar National Park, a bird watchers paradise.

Thailand Pottery , Crafts & Thai Food

Following the success of our last tour, that took our guests behind the scenes in Thailand, we now offer you another opportunity to gain access to galleries, studios and artists homes, where no other tour will take you. Award winning ceramic artist Mr Vipoo Srivilasa will once again introduce members of this tour to some of Thailand's leading and most innovative artists.

This is a fully escorted tour to Thailand visiting potters and craft artist studios. Meet artists making ceramics and traditional crafts and enjoy the taste sensations of Thai Food in both Bangkok and Chiangmai .
